I spend around 65% of my nights in controlled hypoxia and follow a detailed protocol: For example, 30 days at 8 hours a day at 3,000 m results in an altitude dose of 720 km/h. This passive sleeping at artificial altitude is supplemented by a targeted heat protocol to increase blood volume.
When it comes to your performance on the mountain, one value matters most: hemoglobin mass per kilogram of body weight. At 14.5 g/kg, I'm already at the top, but I'm currently working on a new self-experiment to break the 15.0 g/kg mark.
